PEM Corporate Finance provided support in the sale of Brit Stops to US counter part Harvest Hosts.

What we did

PEM Corporate Finance were appointed by Brit Stops to provide M&A and tax advice. Philip Olagunju, Samuel Reynolds, and Jan Ansari supported the vendors throughout the negotiation process.

Company background

Founded in 2011 by Steve and Mandy Clark, Brit Stops are an annual print-based catalogue (and more recently, an app) that allows motorhome and campervan tourists to discover the network of over 1,100 pit stops around the British Isles.

What was special?

Brit Stops was identified as the UK counter part to US based acquirer Harvest Hosts. The acquisition facilitated cross boarder expansion, allowing two like minded companies, with a similar customer focused ethos, to unlock the next stages of their respective growth.

Deal structure

Harvest Hosts acquired 100% of Brit Stops.

Alastair Gunn & Nichola Stephens of Buckles provided legal advice to the vendors. Weil acted as legal adviser to the acquirer.
