Based in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, Elsinore Foods is a market leading supplier of niche seafood and delicatessen products. Formed in 2009 through a management buyout from Danfood Ltd, Elsinore specialises in continental meats, cheeses, yoghurts, pastry, spices and other delicacies.

What was special

PEMCF advised on the sale of Elsinore to Golden Acre following a competitive process involving a number of other buyers. The two companies had clear synergies in terms of logistics and product, making Elsinore an ideal strategic acquisition for Golden Acre.
