We advised our client, Unique Employment Services Ltd, on the sale of the company to an overseas buyer.
We acted as lead advisers the owners of this independent recruitment services agency, on the sale of the company to an overseas buyer. Our team were present throughout the sale process, reviewing the financial information, analysing all financial models, advising on deal structure, introducing sell-side lawyers and leading negotiations.
Unique Employment Services was established in 1998 as a recruitment agency with a specific focus on temporary blue-collar workers. The company has supported hundreds of businesses in the East of England and East Midlands, specialising in placing candidates into sectors such as logistics, food manufacturing, professional services, and engineering.
Due to various logistical challenges as a result of the global pandemic, this deal had to be paused twice. However, PEM Corporate Finance continued to liaise with the buyers and encouraged the use of digital tools which helped to ensure that the deal was completed at the third attempt.
The Spanish buyer, Jobs and Talent S.L. acquired 100% of the share capital.
