PEM Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of Quintic, a technical software consultant, on the sale of the company to CAD Schroer.

Company background

Quintic is engaged in consultancy and the development of technical software. It was instrumental in the development of the new 2D Drafting System for Pro/ENGINEER USERS: STHENO/PRO and in 2002, the MEDUSA and STHENO/PRO products were acquired by CAD Schroer, PTC’s primary and most successful MEDUSA reseller in Europe. Other Quintic Clients include Lloyds of London, for whom it has developed shipping applications, other global software houses, resellers, engineering and manufacturing companies.

Deal structure

CAD Schroer, a German-based company, bought 100% of the share capital from the shareholders at Quintic.
