Majority sale of shares for Orbital Fabrications

We helped Bourn Bioscience raise a £3.5 million private equity investment from Mobeus Equity Partners to support the company’s plans for geographic growth.
Bourn Bioscience Ltd is the parent company of Bourn Hall Clinic, the first IVF clinic in the world. The company has three full service IVF clinics, based in Cambridge, Colchester and Norwich. With 120 staff and the delivery of over 2,500 IVF cycles per annum, Bourn Hall Clinic is the largest independent fertility services provider in the East of England.
We managed the fund raising process from start to finish, helping the company to formulate its growth strategy, and introducing a carefully selected number of potential private equity investors appropriate to the deal size and Bourn Bioscience’s aspirations. We have a close and long-standing relationship with Bourn Hall Clinic, having advised on the original management buyout of the business from Serono, and its subsequent acquisition of ISIS Fertility in 2009.
