Philip Olagunju has been promoted to the role of Partner at PEM Corporate Finance with effect from 1st April 2021.
Philip Olagunju has been promoted to the role of Partner at PEM Corporate Finance LLP (PEMCF). Philip’s elevation to a senior role underlines the scale of ambition by the firm to grow the business and maintain the highest quality of service to its clients.
For more than 15 years, Philip has built considerable experience advising on management buyouts, acquisitions, company sales, and valuation projects. Most recently he led the MBO of Falcon Cranes, the MBO of COEL, and the sale of Chell Instruments to SDI plc. The latter won the Deal of the Year (under £10m) category at the Insider Dealmakers Awards Central & East 2020.
On being promoted to Partner, Philip said,
“I am really pleased to be taking up this appointment. Lake Falconer and the PEM partners have entrusted, equipped and empowered me since I joined the practice in 2017, and I’m excited and proud to be joining such an exceptional partner group. Despite the recent challenges posed by the pandemic to clients, communities and the economy, PEMCF has remained busy over the last 12 months and our pipeline remains strong, and I am looking forward to building on our recent transactional activity.”
Lake Falconer, Partner at PEMCF and who established the firm in 2004, said,
“I would like to congratulate Philip on his well-deserved promotion. He has worked hard to establish himself in the Cambridge market and indeed wider afield. Along with the rest of our team, he has played a major role in helping our clients to achieve their strategic plans. His promotion underlines the scale of ambition we share for growing our business in the region and we aim to continue providing the highest-quality service to our clients, as we have done consistently since 2004.”
