A fond farewell to Samuel Reynolds

After joining PEM in January 2018 as a trainee in the PEM Audit & Accounts team and moving to PEM Corporate Finance (PEMCF) in August 2021, Samuel Reynolds will sadly be leaving the PEMCF team at the end of September following his recent relocation to Nottingham.

We sat down with Sam and asked him what the top three things he’ll miss the most about PEMCF are. Check out what he said below:

1 – I’ve been fortunate to spend the last c6 years in two very different, but equally excellent teams. My growth and development have been supported beyond expectation. I’m very grateful for the opportunities PEM/PEMCF have provided and the people I have met along the way.

2 – I’ve been able to work with an amazing and diverse client base over the years. Clients have ranged from early-stage businesses to large corporates with turnover in excess of £750m. Both teams provided me with insight into a breadth of businesses at various stages in their lifecycles and it’s been a pleasure to work with them all.

3 – Free parking on Station Road. These can’t all be serious – despite the recent move to Nottingham, the office parking will be missed!

On his departure, Sam said

“I’m thankful to everyone at PEM and PEMCF for the opportunities provided and fun we’ve had along the way. There are too many individuals I’d like to thank personally, but a special thanks to both Ed Napper & Philip Olagunju for providing advice and support from my first steps in the corporate world as a trainee through to where I am today.”

Philip Olagunju, Head of PEMCF has said

“Sam has been a great member of the PEM team, demonstrating enthusiasm, hard work, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn, all pretty much from day one. Whilst we’re sad to see Sam leave, we’re grateful for the positive contributions he’s made, not least his support on several advisory projects, including the sale of Masters Logistical Services to Knowles Transport, the MBO of Titan Motorsport, and the sale of X-On to Southern Communications Group. We all wish Sam all the very best for the future with his career, and in life more generally.”
