Jan is a Business Tax Partner at Cambridge accountants, PEM. He works closely with our team on the tax aspects of sale and buyout transactions.
Jan joined our team in 2012 having previously worked for over 10 years in the Thames Valley at a couple of the Big 4 firms as well as a top 10 firm working on wide range clients from start-ups, to private-equity backed businesses to global organisations across various industry sectors.
His role was business taxation predominantly advising on restructuring a business and tax implications of transactions. He has participated in all aspects of the deal cycle including due diligence, acquisition tax structuring, input into tax aspects of the sale and purchase agreements, tax cash flow projections, post-acquisition reorganisation and preparation for eventual sale.
Jan enjoys talking to clients and finding out about their plans. He get a great deal of pleasure in solving taxing issues, cutting through the complexity and helping clients achieve their objectives. Jan always gets pleasure in keeping in touch with clients after they have gone through significant and positive changes in respect of their business.
