PEMCF continues to invest despite recession

PEM Corporate Finance (‘PEMCF’) a leading independent corporate finance specialist based in Cambridge, has launched a distinctive new brand identity and website www.pemcf.com.

PEMCF has established itself as a credible alternative to the corporate finance teams at larger accountants and to specialist boutique corporate finance advisers.  Despite difficult economic conditions it continues to invest in a new brand identity and website to help it continue to win work in an increasingly competitive market.

The website showcases the resources and experience at PEMCF and the deals done since its formation.  The new branding gives PEMCF a distinctive identity along side that of its parent Peters Elworthy & Moore (‘PEM’) to reflect the fact that it frequently competes for work well beyond Cambridge, and against different competitors than PEM.

The brand identity reflects the feedback from professional market research conducted amongst PEMCF clients and key intermediaries in the local corporate finance community such as bankers and lawyers.

The key findings were that PEMCF listens to its clients, striving to really understand their objectives and their businesses, to bring genuine insight, and to help them get things done.  As a result PEMCF has a new strap line; “Understanding what’s best for your business” to reflect its listening approach and constant focus on delivering understanding based on insight into its clients to help them get things done.

The positive statements by PEMCF clients and their overall high levels of satisfaction are reflected in the branding – which showcases real client quotes.

The new brand identity was created by PEMCF working with leading regional advertising and branding agency MOBAS which lists amongst its other clients, KLM, Novotel, Bloomberg, Tesco, and locally the University of Cambridge, Papworth Hospital and Taylor Vinters.

Lake Falconer, Partner at PEMCF said, “We are delighted with the new look and the opportunity to showcase properly the good work we have done for clients since we started.  Our new strap-line reflects the fact that we take time to understand our clients so that we can deliver best advice and good deals.”

Paul Chapman, Managing Partner at PEM adds “PEMCF has been a great success for us, and the investment in new branding shows our commitment to continue to provide quality corporate finance advice to owner managed businesses in the region at a time when other firms are reallocating their corporate finance people to insolvency work."

Robin Bryant, Managing Director of MOBAS, commented, “It’s been a pleasure working with such a forward-thinking business.  The branding that’s been created really illustrates not only the personality of the individuals and the working practice of such a professional organisation, but the honest opinion of PEM Corporate Finance clients.

“Mobas has been privileged to work with PEMCF and have rolled out a brand to be proud of.  We wish PEMCF good luck for the future and success for the brand.”
